Let’s make a stand in the name of those we love.

Take part in The Memory Miles Walk on Saturday 3rd October and celebrate the life of your loved one while helping people in Scotland battling chest, heart and stroke conditions.
Rally your friends and family to make this a walk to remember – and raise vital funds to make sure no one fights conditions like stroke, COPD, Coronavirus or heart failure alone.
You can pledge to walk 3, 5, 10 and 25 miles or you can choose your own distance.
For safety reasons The Memory Miles Walk will be a virtual event this year, meaning that you can take part and complete your walk from anywhere.

Your Memories Make a Difference

By taking part in The Memory Miles Walk you will be the difference between someone being alone and scared or getting the help they need to get their life back. You and your loved-one’s memory will be helping people like Michelle.

Michelle and her mum both had strokes within days of each other. Michelle survived, but tragically her mum didn’t. When she came home from hospital she felt completely alone. She felt like giving up but then she met Claire from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

“When I felt at my lowest after leaving hospital, Claire was there for me,” says Michelle.

“She came to my house every week to check I was okay and help with my speech and my walking.

“If I needed her, she was always there for me. She got me on my feet again and gave me confidence in myself that I never thought possible.”

Every pound you raise matters. And all the money raised in Scotland stays in Scotland:

£20 – Can give someone one hour of vital one-to-one help with a support worker to get back to enjoying life when they come home from hospital.
£40 – Would help train a volunteer Kindness Caller to make sure there is always someone at the end of the phone for people who feel isolated and lonely.
£50 – Will mean that someone can attend a support group for three months which will help them cope with the emotional and physical impact of their condition.
£165 – Will fund three months of support for someone with a chest, heart and stroke condition through our Hospital to Home service.
