The CHSS Virtual Physical Activity Peer Groups have been set up to support people to get active and connect with others. CHSS will provide a range of intensity options from chair to circuits based activity
The session will typically last between 30 and 60 minutes and will be at a level suitable for the participant.
The instructors will offer progressions and will also provide the participants with handy hints and tips throughout of how you can keep moving at home throughout the week.
Some sessions CHSS offer also have a social element (usually a quiz). To take part in the session the participant will need access to a laptop/tablet/pc with a camera and microphone.
*There may be instances where it is appropriate to take part in low intensity physical activity should the individual have had sufficient investigations and been cleared by the HCP to take part.
Covid-19: Please note participants should be at least 7 days symptom free if they have had Covid-19 before starting to exercise again. When you do return to physical activity this should be at minimal exertion for two weeks.
